Business Retention & Expansion

CCEDC employs a proactive business-retention strategy that involves meeting with over 300 businesses each year to assess trends, challenges and opportunities they and their respective industries face. The information gathered through this assessment process is used to shape programs; inform policy makers; and continuously refine economic development strategies.

The proactive assessment process also identifies and enhances businesses with expansion plans. CCEDC follows up with the businesses to ensure their access to the many resources and services available through CCEDC and other economic development partners in the region.
